Happy Birthday En Yue

Happy birthday to Chang En Yue(张恩悦), my new borned niece. 

She is probably less than 5 hours old now. I heard she is a healthy 3kg little hot babe...

Im happy. this week is full of great news. Hopefully more will come next week. I mean great news, not niece, my sister in laws are not so "productive" 

3 mid terms coming in next week. Wish me luck. :D

Movies - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

i just came back from a mini gathering with songjie, henri and nabeel. 

And we watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" 

Getting into the cinema without any idea what the show is all about but turned out not bad at all. Apparently the show was quite hot in the academy awards. 

Dont think i should talk much about the show here, u guys just go watch urself. 

but its quite weird that i have not been watching any movies for quite a while and just in 2 weeks, i watched slumdog millionaire and now this.

Have to say both are really good shows. definitely worth watching in the cinema. 

Really need to get started studying soon. 3 midterms coming in less than a week. Gosh.

Cheapest airfare ever

Why should everyone go travel?

My friend was telling me how cheap the flights are recently after the budget airlines started offering no fuel surcharge airfare.

So i went to do a search on some places that im interested in possible dates that i can go(means after my finals lah)

And the conclusion i got is everyone should go travel !! look at the price u can get

Singapore to Guangzhou return at SGD 234 by Tigerairways

Of course people who know this airline well will know u gotta pay some extras for check in luggage and some internet booking fee. but after all u still can get a trip to gz for mayb around 270sgd

KL - London (one way) at RM646 by Airasia X

This is a more tricky one. for the long flights they earn more from u by offering u all kinds of extra services like meals for RM38, check in luggage for like RM20 and something called comfort kit for RM25 (does this mean there wont be blankets in the flight?) but all in all, u can still get urself to london for less than RM700.

Obviously, the tickets getting back is somehow more expensive. Maybe thats how they earn extra hoping most people will buy round trip and they try to attract people by offering low low low tickets for one way.

I dunno what to say for this price lah. i just went there in december for like 200SGD. somehow the price kept dropping after i bought my ticket and now....

This is crazy fare. Last year when i checked it was like SGD600++....mayb i should consider another trip to TW huh...

Wah, 1st time in history im hearing interesting stories about "government" trying to sue "government" 

Its not G of this country sueing G of that country, but G of the state sueing G of the same state, each of them claiming they are the official G.

15th day of Chinese New Year

Yea, its 15th day of Chinese New Year, so ?? 

its supposed to be the last day of Chinese New Year celebration. 

its supposed to be the 1st full moon of the year. 

its supposed to be a night where people gather with family. 

its supposed to be where people eat "Tang Yuan", which i have no idea how to translate. apparently its translated as balls of glutinous rice. such ugly name after translation. 

its supposed to be a day where people put up lanterns. 

its supposed to be a night where people do nothing and appreciate the lantern and moon light. Thats why its also called Lantern Festival. 

Whats more is that its supposed to be the valentine's day in the east. 

some people say if you are single, you are supposed to have a high chance of meeting "The One" on this day. 

Wonder how true it is.

Messy messy...

Long long time ago, there was a school. In the school there is a class of student and there are 2 societies in the class. 

So one day 1 society leader P tell society leader B : " hey, my society has more member lah, i should be the monitor of the class since im leading my society." 

Ok. then P was the monitor for a good few months and suddenly there was 3 students of the class suddenly jump up and say, hey, im tired of societies, i wanna quit all societies and focus on studies. 

This made the number of members of both societies the same, and suddenly society leader B say to society leader P : "hey, now you dont have more members than me, i should be the monitor. " So B went to talk to the teacher and the teacher somehow agreed and asked P to resign as monitor. 

P didnt want to resign as monitor and said to the teacher :" i dont want to resign, u help me sack all the society members and we choose the members again. " 

The teacher didnt want to do that and asked P to resign. Then P decided to ask some friends to gather outside the teacher house wanting to talk to him. Somehow the prefect came and put up almost 50 fireworks and made everyone cry. Sumore they brought 9 people to the disciplinary teacher. 

In the end, P cant do anything and the teacher asked B to become the monitor. But then P and his society members dont like B and didnt recognize B as the monitor. 

Whats worse is P went to talk to students from other school and ask if the teacher is following the school law. And someone actually suggested that the teacher not follow school law lah....

Whatever happens next, the class is in a mess now....when they have their final exams around the corner, they ignore the exams and focus on deciding who is the monitor. well done.

New Year?

Havent updated for a while. 

Why? 

Chinese 牛 year. 

Its weird that this year's CNY, it was not very CNYish kind of feeling. 

As usual, ang paos, relative visits, gatherings with family and friends. 

But somehow, the CNY feeling is no longer there. not as excited as previous years. 

I wonder why. 

But neverthe less, lots of catching up with family and friends. lots of hanging out and drinking and gambling. Lots of fun. 

Somehow i finally found time to type. why? 

Because i couldnt get a sunday ticket and i had to take the bus on monday night. But most friends have already gone back to their own life, so i had an extra day of bo-liao-ing in ipoh. 

I DONT WANNA GO BACK FOR SCHOOL.
